Understand Maryland's Homeschool Law

Maryland is a relatively homeschool-friendly state, but there are still legal requirements you need to follow. Under Maryland law, all families who wish to homeschool must file a Notice of Intent to Homeschool. This document informs the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) that you plan to take responsibility for your child’s education.
